The 1st International Congress of Andrology — Barcelona, 1977

The 1st International Congress of Andrology (ICA) was held in Barcelona in 1977, organized by the Comité Internacional de Andrología (CIDA) — the predecessor organization to what would later become the International Society of Andrology (ISA). This landmark congress marked the beginning of a tradition of global, quadrennial gatherings that continues to this day.
